Willowbrook Wildlife Refuge

One of the things on our 60 days of Summer Fun list was to visit the Willowbrook Wildlife Refuge. I had never been before, so I was kind of excited to check it out. It was a quick little outing which was perfect since it has been so hot here lately.

It was nice to be able to show the boys how WWR rehabilitates animals. Each animal on exhibit is there because they aren't able to live in the wild anymore. They have signs posted about how each animal came to the center and why they aren't able to survive the wild. Clark was very interested in what happened to each animal. Kent was just trying to keep the mosquitoes away.
