Free Slurpees and a Flashback

Free Slurpee Day! I've missed out on this day for years and years, but we were determined to take part this year. The only way that was going to happen was to schedule it on my calendar and send myself a reminder. My poor brain is pure mush.

We headed out to 7-11 to get our free slurpees that cost $6.58 - 2 packs of gum, a package of Milky Way minis and some watermelon rings. YUM!!

Getting free slurpees gets 2 thumbs up from these guys

Pure concentrated joy

I have a very soft spot in my heart for 7-Eleven. I think it was because it was a safe and happy option in Taiwan. When all else failed (like you had no clue what was being served to you) you could always find a 7-Eleven and grab yourself a Big Bite. If you were adventurous you could eat their noodles with sand or thousand year old eggs, but I didn't often stray from the Big Bite. I used to take a daily walk to our closest 7-Eleven. Nothing could beat a Snickers and a Pepsi (back when Pepsi was my drink of choice). Although QOO came in a close second!

Thanks 7-Eleven!

Gotta love that they had tables outside the Sevco. What a hoot!
