I was really glad we were able to make a stop at the Cardston, Alberta Temple. The temple is so pretty and has such a different look than the one at home.
It was murder trying to get these kids to sit for this pictures. Ok, it was really just Kent who was the problem. Jason bribed him with some gum.
I like to visit roadsideamerica.comwhenever we go somewhere to see what kinds of off the wall places we can visit. This time we stopped at the Fay Wray Fountain. Fay Wray is the actress who played Ann Darrow in King Kong. She's from Cardston - who knew?! The kids all beat their chest like King Kong and then we had Dairy Queen.
Other random pics...The boys loved the trampoline. Clark thought it was the coolest to be able to put the sprinkler on under the trampoline and then jump.
With Kent it was a different story. We were so excited that we had found something that was going to make him happy. He would just keep saying, "Can I jump for a little bit?" The problem with finding something that he loved so much was that he hated it when we took him off.
And the kings...Burger King in Canada serves poutine. Yuck. French fries with gravy and cheese curds. Very weird if you ask me. Their KFC had a different menu too...no mac and cheese and no mashed potatoes and gravy. Oh how spoiled we are in the US.
