Candy Corn Jell-O

EDIT: Candy corn is actually yellow then orange then white...who knew? I've eaten so much of this and I still get it wrong?

I was really bummed this year when I found out that Kent doesn't like candy corn. Every time I would eat a bag some, he would be really fussy the next day, the poor kid. So I've decided to be a grown up and not eat candy corn for the sake of my nursing baby. I am trying really hard not to hold it against him. :) And I am stashing away a bag of Brach's candy corn - the only candy corn - for some time in May when Kent is weaned. Hip, hip, hooray!

So for now...this will have to do. My dear friend Michele made these, and I couldn't resist trying it out myself. I need to get my candy corn fix somehow!

Candy Corn Jell-O

1 pkg. Orange Jell-O
1 pkg. Yellow Jell-O (I used Island Pineapple - yum, but you could use Lemon or something else too)
2 cups boiling water
2 cups cold water
Cool Whip or whipped cream

Prepare orange Jell-O according to package directions. Pour into clear glasses. Allow to set for a while. I put mine in the fridge for 2 hours or something, but I think I was being really cautious.

Prepare yellow Jell-O according to package directions. Pour over the orange Jell-o and allow to set for 4 hours.

Before serving, top with Cool Whip or whipped cream. Enjoy!

**Next time I would definitely use smaller glasses. My glasses were really big and that's a lot of Jell-O! It was so good though!
