Our Weekend

On Saturday Jason was making a fish tank stand for Clark. (He's getting a fish tank for Christmas - but that should be another post...) We had priced out some cabinets earlier that day, and they were going to be around $1000, so we decided that Jason would make his own. Turns out we should have paid the grand.

The nail (from the framing nailer) went through his index fingernail and pulled it off and chipped the bone. Then it took up residence in his pinkie where it stayed for a good little while as we drove to the ER. No bashing me for taking pictures...we are in the car and at a stoplight, so we were hurrying.

Lincoln Park Zoo Lights

I love going downtown at Christmastime. The lights are amazing and we usually make a stop at Garrett's popcorn - YUM! My mom, dad, Jason, Clark and I all went to see the Zoo Lights at Lincoln Park. The lights were pretty, but the animals were all asleep. We have to go back to see the Chimps someday...and the bear. It's actually a pretty neat zoo. And since I go to the zoo so often, I should know!
