Hi-C Overdose

Myth: Clark likes his Frightening Fruit Punch Hi-C a little too much!
Fact: He had his shots yesterday and could sleep anywhere.

Blessing Day

Here are some pictures from Clark's blessing. It's such a nice day to think about what the future may hold for our little Clark. It's also an overwhelming day to think that we are responsible for teaching him how to be a good person and make right choices so that he may return to live with his Heavenly Father someday.

Look at Me! Look at Me!

I have been so busy these past few weeks. I got to meet one of mom's roommates from BYU. Even though Auntie Tara called me a shrimp, I still liked her!
I have also spent some time in Joliet hanging out wih the Burgins. I love talking to Auntie Dan-"YELL." We had a contest to see who was louder...I have some practicing to do. Check out my mohawk-it is Auntie Danielle's specialty! Mom keeps pushing me during tummy time. She really wants me to be able to pick my head up so she can see my neck. As you can see, this would be a lot easier if my cheeks were a little lighter...I get tired so quickly!

I went on my first trip this month. We went on our annual Spoon River Drive trip. My mom won the prize for buying the most stuff. My cousin Josh and Auntie Kelly came along this year too. That was a lot of fun. The worst part...the awful heat! It was 90 degrees outside. My dad had to keep me cool by covering me with a cold, wet washcloth.

Here is one of my favorite pasttimes during the day when I am home with mom. (My other favorite is watching the animals on my mobile!) My swing makes such great noises and I think they are coming from that little white part up in the corner. I keep watching it to see if my theory is correct.
The best thing about these past few weeks is that I finally learned how to smile. I don't usually smile for pictures (it drives my mom nuts...he, he, he!), but I let her get just this one!

Picture Perfect

Sorry it has been so long. Pick your excuse...

a) our internet hasn't been working
b) we have been installing flooring and picking out new cabinets
c) I have no time to show off Clark because I am feeding him, changing him or trying to get him to go to sleep
d) all of the above!

Clark and I are having a great time together, and it is getting a little easier too...knock on wood! He is now 12 lbs. 6 oz. and growing!
